The STEMley/Overtime pre-rookie program is aimed at teams that will be competing for the first time in 2026. There is no cost for pre-rookie teams and we have 2 spots reserved on each day.
The event hosts (4039 and 5406) will provide everything you need for the event:
- A loaned robot (our competition robot from this past season)
- Training and FRC introductions before-hand at the Robodrome (in Hamilton)
- A pit, set up to support the robot
- Student supports to help guide you through everything during the day:
- Drive coaching
- Robot repairs
- Match strategy & alliance selection
This experience gives pre-rookie teams an immersive introduction to the FIRST Robotics Competition and sets them up with a strong foundation for their first season.
